Are We There Yet?

The REAL stock market crash? Yes, Japan recovered some of her losses yesterday, but today (3/16/11), the Dow went down 242.12, and Nasdaq went down 50.51. What will the Nikkei do tonight? Or is everything going to go back to where it was before in a couple of weeks.

Not that the stock market is an economic indicator of any sort. It's not.

Who knows about anything, though? Just saw a headline that said 19,000 teachers are getting pink slips in the land of Californication a bit south of us.

That's quite a number. Everything is winding down.

And what is the BP death toll in the gulf, so far? That's not in the news. And what will the BP death toll be in another 6 months?

I will find out in the last week of April. But will I remember when I come back here? Can I force myself to remember somehow? Or will I decide I was a fool for undertaking all this, and not come back from my intended 'visit' home?

We shall see.
