Went For A Ride This Morning

I went out alone, and rode bareback out back. I had the pony canter out a little past the edge of our property, and had him walk back. It was cold, and I wore a t-shirt, a work shirt, jeans, my new boots, a denim jacket, gloves, and a deerstalker with the earflaps down. The only noise was the sound of hoofbeats, the birds, and wild life that I'd disturbed rustling away. I heard not one car, and there wasn't even any air traffic to mess up the pristine situation. Not a bad 45 minutes. After his grooming, I made 6 litres of farina with fresh peaches for my equine love, and 2 litres for everyone else.

I've been feeling so at peace, of late. Totally, 'Shiva eat your heart out' blissed out. Detached. Not even hung up on overseeing the publication of my writing project in the slightest.

Local radiation levels are edging up a little, not that I or we, as in my household has anything to be concerned about.
