Probably not. Drizzling a little, not too cold, feeling kind of amped. Pleasantly cool, but not too cold, and I wasn't going to be out too long. I'd been lounging in just a pair of cut-offs, it was too early to have been dragged off yet for being dressed like a 'bimbo', so I decided what the Hell? I go out to the stables, halter my lovely palomino friend, and race across the pasture a few times. On the last round, on the way back to the stables, I slid off his back, and we both ran back at the same speed. It was great, and the lush grass felt good against the bare feet.
I rinsed the lower legs off with the hose when I got back to the outer stable, gave the pony a hoof cleaning, a quick brush down, and when I got to the kitchen to get him a treat, I'd found the tay kettle was whistlin'.
Oh what timing. I steeped myself a bag of Twinings black current, took two apples and three carrots for my equine buddy, and one apple and one carrot each for the other two, so they wouldn't feel left out.
After I came back dried off, got into a dry t-shirt and jeans, I ended up havin' tea with the guys in front of the fireplace, which had been lit. How sweet it was. And the mullethead had a new repertoire of obnoxious jokes she'd come up with that really made me wonder, but hey! At least they weren't inspired by me. I may post some of them shortly. Maybe.
