It was cold, pouring, and this was great. I just hoped the rain would let up when we went shopping tomorrow.
Yesterday, shortly after our run, the mullethead was as sore as Hell. I ran a hot bath with epsom salts for 'er, and after; my mentor gave her a therapeutic massage. She'd still feel like shoite today, but she'd be OK tomorrow. Neither my mentor or myself would let 'er do anything today. We'd let 'er relax and get over it. She'd pushed herself way too hard, but hey! That's progress. . .IF she kept it up.
The equines had been taken care of, they were blanketed, I'd fixed them some chamomile tay and oatmeal with their morning breakfast, and I let 'my' palomino master into the den for a little while, closing the half-door behind him. He was the only equine who was allowed into the main part of the house, and no; he did NOT lay down on the couch like in my story set. We wouldn't let him out of the den, and he could only come in for maybe ten or fifteen minutes at a time, and I was always with him at the time, petting him, or whatever.
It didn't happen very often, and it wasn't going to.
Now, I suppose was a good time to start breakfast. Seems like there hasn't been any major news breakthroughs yet.
